Weinbrecht's drawings are inspired and based on real life subjects. Capturing their emotions, bringing the essence and spirit of the subject to life. Discovering his love for art early in life by drawing on paper plates and painting on walls, his artistic fascination quickly grew. In these early years he was greatly influenced by exposure to Metropolitan New York City ideology, mixed with summers at Long Beach Island and his Uncle's dairy farm in South Jersey.
Transplanting himself from Secaucus, New Jersey in 1963 to pursue a formal art education by attending Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. While on a football scholarship he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and learned the art of Silverpoint.
Presently, and for the last 27years, Weinbrecht is president and designer for Creative Signs, & Design, Inc. of Topeka, Kansas.
